    Nature Coast Fall Native Plant Sale 2017                                                                                      Mary Ellen Gotto, Master Gardner shares her personal experience using native Florida plants in her yard.  Mary Ellen talked what a native plant is and why we should use them.  

May 2013 – Tillis Hill Park Ranger Sid Taylor and geologist John Miller pause with Nature Coast members and friends on a field trip to Withlacoochee State Forest. Only a few were brave enough to climb into the amazing karst features in the Forest.

 

May 2013 – The Nature Coast Chapter planted a  memorial garden at the new entrance to Werner Boyce State Park in memory of Gorgon O’Conner. She was a park ranger there until her death last year. Volunteers started with  bare ground and a new fence.  These images share the joys of planting, the finished garden and the commemorative stone.
